We are seeking a visionary academic leader who can combine regulatory rigour with institutional growth, academic excellence, and strong governance in keeping with NEP 2020 norms.
The Mandate
The Principal will serve as the chief academic and administrative leader of the institution, driving strategic growth while ensuring full compliance with NCTE, MDSU, UGC and other statutory requirements.
Key areas of accountability include:

Providing academic vision and institutional direction

Strengthening and supervising teacher education programmes, including NTT and D.El.Ed.

Leading accreditation, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Overseeing academics, admissions, examinations, curriculum delivery and student development
-
Monitoring academic outcomes and implementing performance improvements.

Coordinating across departments to ensure operational excellence.

Engaging with community and external stakeholders to enhance institutional impact.

Representing the institution before universities and regulatory bodies

Reporting to the Board of Management and Secretary on academic and administrative matters.
Eligibility & Experience
-
Must meet all prevailing NCTE norms
-
Minimum 18+ years in higher education (teaching and/or administration)
-
Prior experience as HOD / Vice-Principal / Principal preferred
-
Demonstrated experience in AQAR, NAAC accreditation, and regulatory compliance
-
Experience in establishing or managing teacher training programmes such as NTT is highly desirable
-
Candidate with additional experiences of research, publications in UGC-CARE Journals, national and international seminars and workshops will be given preference
